【Natto Food Combinations】

Depending on what you eat natto with, it can add nutrients that natto has low amounts of, and even help the absorption rate of existing minerals and vitamin.

For example, green onions; most of the recipes listed above recommend to have green onions mixed in. The reason being that it not only enhances the flavor, but the Allyl sulfide in green onions significantly boosts the bodies ability to absorb Vitamin B1/B2.
