Onsen Egg is a mix of a poached egg and a hard-boiled egg; a soft-boiled egg.

【How to - Onsen Egg】- SUPER EASY VERSION

**Depending on the amount of water, and how many eggs, how the egg cooks will vary, so some experimentation may be required to get the desired result.

1. Bring water to a boil. Make sure there is enough water to cover all the eggs.

2. Once the water boils, turn the heat off and gently drop the eggs into the pot.

3. Wait for 10 - 12 minutes.

4. Drain and run under cold water for a few minutes, store the onsen eggs that will not be used in the fridge for upto 3 days.

5. Crack the egg onto the dish that will be served.

*If both egg yolk and egg white are still soft, it's a success!
